I promised you some feedback back in the dark ages when you fitted the cat flap – so, very belatedly, here it is:
We had already purchases a PetPorte Cat Flap and needed a professional fitter to install. After much internet research and a good review of the catflapfitter.co.uk website, it was clear that the best place to look was for Colin@catflapfitter.co.uk. The work order was very quickly organised & confirmed, with a very good-humoured and friendly approach
Colin arrived & immediately made friends with our cats Gismo & Toffee and also the human that made him the coffee (on behalf of the cats, who were obviously in complete control of the operation at all times). The work was carried out with expertise & good humour on the part of Colin and mild amusement / indifference on the part of Gismo & Toffee, until it was time for further petting & head scratching.
You could just tell by the ease, professionalism and efficiency with which Colin carried out his work that he’s done this many times before! He so obviously knows how to go from start to finish, sorting out whatever problem may arise, that you are just comfortable with the job at all times and that there’s just not going to be a problem at the end.
Proof of the pudding was how it worked with our cats. We were unsure how they would take to a cat flap at all, never mind having to ‘introduce’ their chip to the cat flap sensor. Problem solved with Colin – he just picked them up, cuddled & re-assured them and then took them round to the outside and ‘fed’ them through to initialise the cat-flap chip. Job done and they’ve been absolutely fine ever since and the flap has never let us down.
We just cannot be more impressed with the level of personal and professional service supplied.
